Michael On Fire

I recalled, fondly, a night from a few years ago, after a gig at The Cinema Bar in Culver City, with Michael, Bear and Tompeet. Some of the fans and old friends from “the Santa Monica days” showed up and right from the get-go started calling out tunes, wanting to hear their favorite Michael On Fire songs. It turned into a whole night of requests, and it was a riot! 

Afterward, we strolled down the block to Johnnie’s diner to get some food. We grabbed a stool at the counter and they had these juke boxes, so we all picked a couple of songs, and again, it was so much fun to find out which song was coming next and who chose it.

With this great night in mind, we conceived of MOF JUKEBOX – put in a coin and you get a song, newly performed by Michael.
